We have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic and innovative technical team. This role offers a chance to work on cutting-edge infrastructure projects and contribute to the optimisation and reliability of critical systems.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives
In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing both on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure. Your key duties will include:

1. Taking ownership of physical and virtual infrastructure, ensuring systems are secure, monitored, and up-to-date.
2. Leading the implementation of DevOps practices to streamline updates and support live platforms.
3. Automating software and infrastructure updates to improve efficiency.
4. Maintaining high system availability and managing related KPIs.
5. Collaborating with system and network administrators to support and develop operational and development environments.
6. Coordinating with external service providers for additional support and services.

Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:

1. Experience managing on-premise and public cloud infrastructure services, such as Microsoft Azure.
2. Experience working in a DevOps role with a focus on automation and platform support.
3. Technical leadership role within DevOps.
4. Proven experience in building and managing complex Linux environments.

Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:
1. Industry-standard certifications related to infrastructure management and DevOps.
2. A recognised IT-related degree.
3. Experience with other cloud platforms and automation tools.
4. Familiarity with additional Scripting languages or tools.
