Job Description:

As the Maintenance Engineering Manager, you will take full responsibility for managing a team of 12 engineers and 2 office staff, overseeing the execution of Capex projects worth up to £2 million, and ensuring that all maintenance activities align with company goals. Your leadership will be key in developing the skills of your team, creating and implementing effective training plans, and maintaining a robust PPM schedule. This role is 100% management-focused, requiring you to handle recruitment, disciplinaries, and people management with a focus on guidance and development.

Skills Required for Maintenance Engineering Manager:

Proven leadership and management experience in a heavy industrial environment.
Strong understanding of budget management and Capex project oversight.
Expertise in continuous improvement (CI) and implementing effective maintenance strategies.
Experience in developing and managing training plans for engineering teams.
Comprehensive knowledge of PPM schedules and people management.
