You will be joining a high-profile main contractor who are looking to appoint an Operations Director to join their senior leadership team. This is a permanent position based in the Birmingham area.

Your new role
As Operations Director, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Leading and managing operations across multidisciplinary (design, operations, delivery and engineering) teams
Ensuring HSE policies are embedded into daily operations
Monitoring and reporting on project progress and performance
Developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure operational efficiency
Delivering to operational and budgetary associated targets
Building, developing and leading a high-performing team.What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:

Extensive experience in senior operational management within heavy civils, ideally in the water sector
Strong strategic planning and implementation abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage projects from inception through to completion
Proven successful track record of leading multidisciplinary teams.What you'll get in return
