Multi-Skilled Engineer Electrical Bias - Nights

Location: Wallingford OX10

Salary: Up to £53,000 per annum (DOE)

Shifts: Nights - Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:00am

Job Description

Are you a versatile Multi-Skilled Engineer with a knack for both mechanical and electrical challenges? We’re seeking a talented engineer to keep our machinery humming smoothly during night shifts.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Conducting maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.

* Diagnosing and addressing equipment issues with efficiency.

* Assisting in the installation of new machinery and upgrades.

* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

* Collaborating with the team to optimize production processes.

Key Responsibilities Include:

* Proactively addressing maintenance needs and responding to breakdowns.

* Accurately recording work activities and completing root cause analyses (RCAs).

* Identifying and escalating further required actions.

* Contributing to continuous improvement (CI) projects for recurring issues.

Qualifications

* Relevant engineering qualification.

* Proven competency in electrical safety, isolation, and panel entry.

* Experience in FMCG operations is preferred.

* PC literate with experience using computer-based maintenance systems.

* Capable of machine assembly, size adjustments, and completing change procedures.
