Job Profile
As the successful CNC Turner (Mazak Lathes with Milling capability - MillTurn) Programmer Setter Operator you will be working on state-of-the-art machine tools alongside a friendly team of 6 other engineers, producing small batches of high tolerance parts / components.

Duties:

* Programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC MillTurn machines with Mazatrol

* controls

* Producing components from engineering drawings with batch sizes ranging from 1 to

* 100 off

* Machining to tolerance of +/-0.01mm from materials such as Brass, Aluminium

* Stainless Steel and Inconel

Skills:

* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, producing programs from scratch

* Experience of working with Mazak CNC MillTurn machines with Mazatrol controls

* CADCAM programming would be an advantage but not essential

* Background in a subcontract machine shop would be an advantage

Hours:

* 39hrs per week

* 7am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday

* 7am to 12pm, Friday

* Lots of overtime available (up to 15hrs per week) paid at x1.5hrs
