We have a fantastic opportunity for a Paralegal to join their reputable Family Team on a full-time basis. As the Paralegal you will have a great opportunity to work with and learn from a talented, supportive, and friendly Family team.
You’ll work on a varied and interesting caseload and provide high quality administrative support to the team. You will help support the team, handling high quality family law matters to include, injunctions, financial matters, divorce, and children matters; our expertise is with professional and high net worth individuals.
This rewarding opportunity offers:
* A salary up to £25,000 per annum DOE
* 22 days holiday plus bank holidays
* A bonus scheme
Day to day, you’ll be successful in this role by:
You will be working alongside the experienced Family team and where possible, be involved with all stages of the case, taking part in client meetings and liaising with clients, counsel, the court and third parties on a regular basis.
You will be assisting with casework and case file management, drafting legal documents (with supervision), preparing bundles for trial, assisting with the billing process and conducting legal research on occasion as requested. There will also be the opportunity of assisting in business development projects and attending networking functions.
This is a busy role, with deadlines to manage and competing priorities, so you will be required to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently and remain calm under pressure.
To be considered for this family paralegal role you must have:
* Previous experience in family law
* The ability to hit the ground running on paralegal tasks related to privately funded family law
* A strong academic track record including a Law Degree
* A genuine passion to develop in this area of law
* Exceptional people skills
* Ability to assess suitability in line with client’s goals
* Strong analytical skills, specifically analysing financial records and providing detailed technical commentary
* Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple caseloads at any one time
