Audio Visual Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an AV Technician with Desktop Support skills to join our team, supporting a Global customer account at their head office. This role is perfect for a professional with a proven track record of supporting a diverse user estate, including VIPs, Executives, and Senior Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and planning events, service requests, and planned changes within meeting rooms, boardrooms, and an auditorium.
Day to Day of the role:- Provide technical support for AV equipment within meeting rooms, boardrooms, and auditoriums.
- Manage and plan corporate events, ensuring all AV requirements are met to a high standard.
- Handle service requests and planned changes efficiently and effectively.
- Build and maintain key relationships with end users, including VIPs, Executives, Senior Management, and their support staff.
- Take ownership of complex cases, managing them from end to end to ensure resolution.
- Engage in project work as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Offer support offsite and outside of regular working hours when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an AV Technician or in a similar role.
- Desktop Support
- Excellent track record of providing AV support up to director level.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to interact with VIPs and senior management.
- Capability to take ownership of complex cases and manage them to resolution.
- Flexibility to work offsite and out of hours as needed.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
