Position Summary

The Account Manager is a seasoned and confident marketer who is proactive, detail-oriented and has the ability to manage an assigned book of business.  The ideal candidate is comfortable leading the development of integrated marketing strategies for a variety of the agency’s accounts and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of marketers, creatives and strategic thinkers to deliver positive outcomes for our clients. The ideal candidate excels at building lasting relationships with our clients and the internal team and enjoys bringing a consultative/strategic approach to all conversations.

Essential Functions & Outputs

Deep understanding of client’s business as well as the strategies and tactics we deploy on their behalf.

Primary point of contact for client with shared communication across team, pulling in resources as needed in/out of core team.

Ensure clear & proactive communication throughout every phase of a project.

Owns project schedules and project management software. Experience with Asana is preferred but not required.

Responsible for clearly articulating project milestones to our clients and be able to manage expectations around all of those key checkpoints.

Desire to be an active member of the team.

Ability to identify growth opportunities and collaborate with the Vice President of Marketing to pursue.

Lead the charge in monitoring the results of our work and elevate those findings.

Ensures profitability and management of scopes with clients.

Review agency work to make sure that it aligns with scope and expectations.

Keep a pulse on client news and trends that impact their industry.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a marketing, project management or account management role.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Prior agency experience preferred, but not required.

Experience with dental or other healthcare brands is a plus.

Experience with Asana and the Absorb LMS is a plus.

High attention to detail.

Innate curiosity and aptitude with the ability to see the big picture as well as be hands on.

Comfortable keeping your own workload prioritized, organized and balanced.

Thrives in a fast-paced environment that has ever-changing priorities.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

Ambitious, driven and hard-working.
