The Traveling Superintendent will manage commercial and retail construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction management, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to work in diverse environments. This role requires extensive travel to project sites across the country.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction, specifically within the retail or commercial sectors

Proven track record of managing multiple large-scale construction projects simultaneously

Willingness and ability to travel

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams on-site

In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and construction practices

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on detail and quality

Experience with scheduling software and project management tools is a plus
