Teaching Assistant - Accrington
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistants to work on a full time basis to join our team at a Primary School within the Accrington Area. The role will start ASAP on an ongoing basis. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher to support the learning and development of our children across KS2.
Key Responsibilities:
Working 1-1 with children needing additional support..
Full time hours - 8.30-3.30
Providing pastoral support to children who may need extra help.
Contributing to the creation of a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Helping to assess pupils' progress and keeping accurate records.
Supporting pupils with special educational needs.
Flexible to work across different year groups
Role will include a lunchtime dutyEssential Requirements:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and a right to work in the UKDesirable Requirements:
Knowledge of phonics and early years learning.
Experience working with children with SEND.
