Mitchells have a fantastic opportunity for an administrator which has become available within a friendly, growing agricultural accountancy firm in the centre of Taunton. The role is client facing and therefore the successful applicant must possess excellent customer service skills as well as competences in IT and administrative skills.

This role could suit someone wanting full time hours at our offices in central Taunton.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Digital Filing
  • Digital audio typing and admin tasks
  • Providing full administrative support to the whole team
  • Filing, archiving, scanning photocopying & binding
  • Diary management including arranging meetings on behalf of the partners
  • Answering phones and dealing with enquiries or taking messages
  • Open and action or scan/distribute all incoming mail
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism when dealing with clients and colleagues
  • Exercise confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Be proactive to be able to complete work
  • Assisting with providing content for social media accounts would be desirable

Candidate Profile -

  • Well organised, dependable, proactive and able to take the initiative
  • Be flexible and prepared to help others when needed
  • Excellent organisation, co-ordination and prioritising skills
  • Professional and confident telephone manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and to work accurately and effectively under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team and understand team dynamics
  • Excellent IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience of working in an office environment essential
  • Agricultural connection is desirable but not essential.
  • Should be prepared to work at a fast pace and to deadlines when required
  • Should have attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £22,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
