Ford & Stanley – The Rail Recruitment Experts are seeking Warehouse Operatives to join a leading global Rolling Stock Manufacturing company based at their Newport facility in South Wales.
Location: Newport, Wales
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7-4, Friday 7-1
Potential of moving onto shifts:
6am - 2pm Monday - Friday
2pm - 11pm M-T and Friday 2pm - 6pm
Role and Responsibilities:
Operating a Reach Truck
Cycle counting of inventory and updating the MRP system
Take delivery of goods inwards, using the forklift trucks / overhead cranes and/or other lifting equipment where required, ensuring the safe and efficient loading/unloading/ movement of material across the site.
Ensure materials are checked off in an accurate and timely manner and checked for damages and quantity.
Ensure deliveries are distributed in accordance with timescales/targets.
Update computer and/or manual systems to enable accurate stock levels.
Put materials away in stores after deliveries in accordance with stock control systems in place.
The Candidate
We are seeking an individual with warehousing experience who is able to work independently and manage their own time. You must have experience operating a Reach Truck. You will have strong IT skills with the ability to use an MRP system, ensuring stock levels are accurate.

Other information: A pre-employment Drugs & Alcohol test and Medical must be passed prior to start.
