Nursery Nurse
Our Client are looking to employ a Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse for their small private Day Nursery based near Nunhead in South East London, which is easily accessible and close to many public transport links. The Nursery Nurse must be passionate, enthusiastic and driven to give young children the best early years education and care needed for their development.
Key Responsibilities
Carefully observing children’s learning and development and documenting this
Working closely with the management and staff team to create a safe learning environment for children to develop and grow holistically through their play
Adhering to the nursery’s safeguarding policy at all times
Planning in the moment and implementing learning experiences in alignment with the EYFS framework
Developing enabling environments which meet individual needs in line with the Froebelian approach
Working closely with the management and staff team to create a safe learning environment for children to develop and grow holistically through their play
Building positive relationships with children and families
Requirements
A full and relevant Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare such as EYE, NVQ, CACHE or recognised equivalent
A good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Experience working in a nursery environment
The right to work in the UK and a clear enhanced DBS
