This temporary Catering Assistant role starts ASAP and runs until October half-term, with the possibility of an extension. Main Responsibilities:

As a Catering Assistant, you will prepare, cook, and serve food to pupils, staff, and visitors.
Ensure the kitchen, surrounding areas, and all equipment are kept clean and safe.
Provide efficient and polite service while fostering good customer relations.
Collaborate with staff to create a pleasant dining experience.
Attend meetings or training to support best practices in the team.
Promote the school's objectives by delivering high-quality and efficient service.
Primarily work in the kitchen, but as a Catering Assistant, you'll also be flexible to support other areas if required.Requirements of the Role:

A good standard of written and oral communication skills.
Basic Food Hygiene qualification.
Awareness of food safety regulations.
Experience working with food and general kitchen procedures.
Able to work well with children, adults, and staff.
Capable of working as part of a team or on your own initiative.
Commitment to personal and team development.
Ability to maintain a calm and positive working environment.
