This position WILL require Security Clearance. To be eligible for consideration you must be a UK National and currently based in the UK.
Butler Ross are looking to recruit a Commercial officer / Contracts Officer for a defence client on an initial 12-month FTC basis. The organisation operates a 4-day working week (Full-time, 37.5 hours), and offers hybrid working flexibility. The office itself is based a little outside of Glasgow (to the North-West).
The key focus of this position is performing required contracts management activities associated with providing supplies and services; from capture through to proposal, contract award, and general contract administration.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and administering multiple, contracts and relationships with minimal managerial oversight:
Ensuring timeliness of all contract actions and contract close out.
Keeping both internal and external stakeholders appraised of current or potential issues and of their mitigation/resolution.
Liaising internally and with customers and suppliers in support of above, providing guidance and advise relevant to assigned agreements.
Identifying, defining and implementing contract revisions and improvements in accordance with standard procedures
Ideal Experience / Skill-set
Previous experience in a similar contracts management role
Prior experience managing contracts for projects, programmes, and complex agreements.
Knowledge of commercial/contract models and risk management.
