Are you about to finish university? Do you hold a relevant degree in childcare?
Empowering Learning are looking for a graduate teaching assistant to work within one of our partnered primary schools in the central Nottingham area. The role will be full time and hours of work will be 08:30-16:00
The main duties within this role will be:
Working closely across KS1 and KS2 with pupils who require additonal support
Supporting children on a 1:1 basis with autism and challenging behaviour
Liaising with senior management and the school SENCO around progress
Leading academic interventions with children working below age expected levels
Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons The school are looking for someone who:
Has spent time working in schools (placement or paid work is fine)
Possesses good knowledge of the primary school curriculum
Is willing to get involved in all aspects of school life
Has good communication skills to liaise with staff and the pupils
