We are currently looking on behalf of one of our important clients for a Group Accountant (German Speaking). The role is a permanent position based in Bern Canton & comes with good office flexibility.

Your Role:

• Assist in supporting the preparation of external financial reporting according to Swiss GAAP FER, including half-yearly & annual financial statements for a listed company.
• Collaborate in the optimization & provision of monthly & quarterly reports for the management & the board of directors of a group of companies.
• Participate in the consolidation process of the group
• Collaborate on a wide range of financial topics & strategic group projects such as accounting, transfer pricing, internal audit & M&A.

Your Skills:

• From 1 to 7 years of professional experience in Group Accounting.
• Experienced in preparing Financial Reporting according to Swiss GAAP FER.
• Ideally experienced in Consolidation Software (ideally Cognos) & BI tools.

Your Profile:

• Completed relevant University Degree in Business Administration or a similar qualification in the field of Finance & Accounting.
• Analytical, structured, self-driven & goal-oriented.
• Open-minded & a team player.
• Fluent English & business proficient German language skills (to at least B2 level) are a mandatory requirements.
