The Role
As a Database Analyst/Data Obfuscation Analyst, you will be responsible for the implementation and configuration of a new Data Obfuscation Tool. Working closely with a third-party supplier and IT technical teams, you will oversee the full setup, installation, and configuration of the solution. Additionally, you will establish processes to clone and mask live data into non-production databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup, configure, and manage masking/obfuscating/sub-setting of data from production to non-production environments using third-party tools, while setting up algorithmic rules.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience in Database Administration (Oracle, MySQL), including cloning large databases from production to development and test systems, along with backup and recovery knowledge.
- Expertise in data masking/obfuscation for large enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience in installing and configuring third-party data masking tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools,particularly Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with the implementation and configuration of Java-based APIs.
- Strong understanding of nfrastructure hardware and architecture.
- Knowledge of Sun Solaris, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with networking protocols, Firewall rules, RBAC, TLS setup, and TSS security standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work for yourself and others.
- Problem-solving abilities, with a creative approach to complex issues.
