Are you an expert in iOS development and testing? We want to speak with you! Deerfoot IT Recruitment is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for our client. You'll join a small, focused team delivering a top-tier native mobile application. This hybrid, Full time role is based in London and offers an attractive salary and benefits package.

As a Senior iOS SDET, you'll oversee testing resources and work closely with a flexible team, including a Technical Product Manager, four Senior Software Developers, and an SDET. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the secure capture and preservation of communications data for the world's most highly regulated firms, helping them maintain compliance and control over their information.

In this role, you can expect to:

• Manage performance assessments and hiring for a small team of SDETs
• Drive the team's testing and automation strategies
• Define and organise the team's test planning for releases
• Design and code automation frameworks, tests, and tools
• Pair with developers to design contract tests for both consumers and producers

To be considered, you will need:

• At least 8 years of experience in test development
• 2 years of experience leading a small team
• Excellent understanding of Swift and testing practices in an agile environment
• Excellent understanding of the iOS ecosystem
• Experience with XCUITest
• Knowledge of network protocols such as HTTP, TLS, and TCP is a plus
