Software Engineers needed for a leading UK Law firm.

Looking at Junior to Senior Level experience with experience of working within the Legal sector.

Permanent, Remote working with the occasional head office meetings.

The software engineers will design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software to meet business and customer needs.

Developing features and capabilities for end users, either external customers or internal employees.

Developing platforms such as data engineering, developer tooling, or machine learning. Configuring and customizing vendor-provided packaged software.

Key Responsibilities:

Write high-quality code that satisfies customer needs and strives for simplicity, clarity, and testability.

Promote a collaborative team environment and work closely with colleagues to achieve business objectives.

Collaborate with stakeholders (eg business stakeholders, product owners, project teams, and end users) to understand functional and non-functional requirements.

Skills and Experience

Strong proficiency in one or more coding languages (eg C#, Angular.js)

Experience with development platforms (Azure, Sharedo) desirable

Understanding of software development life cycles.

Strong ability to understand context for code, the codebase, and its relation to business objectives.

Experience with relational databases (eg SQL Server).

Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles and practices including automated testing

Experience supporting vendor software packages/case management systems.
