Our client based in Kintore are looking for a Fabrication Welder to join their team on a contract basis. (4-6 months)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

* Fabrication and welding of metal components.

* Operation of welding and fabrication equipment.

* Understand and follow manufacturing drawings.

* Responsible for complete manufacturing work packs and timesheets.

* Perform cutting and heating tasks by use of oxygen and acetylene.

* Perform preventative maintenance tasks to fleet / non-fleet equipment when required.

* General workshop labour

* Keep work areas clean and organised.

* Adhere to all Company policies and processes.

* Comply with Health and Safety policies and processes.

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience of working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.

* Have relevant knowledge, and experience in general welding and fabrication within a workshop setting.

* Good knowledge of health and safety.

* Working knowledge and prior experience of M.I.G and Flux Core welding processes and techniques in multiple positions.

* Good literacy and numeracy skills.

* Ability to work to a high standard or workmanship.

* Ability to learn new skills.

* Work to tight deadlines in a safe and accurate manner.

* Ability to work unsupervised in diligent and safe manner.

* Prior welding experience.

* Ability to perform fabrication work to offshore standard DNV 2.7-1
