MBNL deliver the mobile infrastructure that enables digital Britain. This is achieved by providing Property, Infrastructure and Operational services to EE/BT and Three.

The infrastructure directorate is accountable for the design, deployment and in life management of site infrastructure to meet safety, service and deployment requirements and enable EE/BT and Three to deliver their best customer experiences at the lowest cost.

Reporting into the MBNL Infrastructure Solutions Team within the IMS Directorate, the Senior Infrastructure Designer will support MBNL in the assurance of designs across all partners and EE and Three. You will be driving cost-effective design through collaboration and cooperation and feeding in any product, guidance or process developments required to achieve that goal. This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week onsite in our Reading office.

What you will do:

• Review site Design submissions to ensure compliance with the MBNL guidance from MBNL, EE and Three to ensure cooperation and collaboration standards are maintained.
• Be a strong advocate for Health and Safety and Quality.
• Ensure that the solutions offered are clearly documented on MBNL systems.
• Report into MBNL site assurance team recording compliance and defects.
• Liaise with cross party Design, Acquisition and Deployment teams as required.
• Liaise with shareholders to resolve queries to ensure satisfactory designs.
• Ensure the site is designed in a cost-effective way.

What we are looking for:

• Current Driving Licence
• Computer literate for MS Word, MS Excel, Emails, MS PowerPoint, AutoCAD
• Significant design experience in general telecoms infrastructure with an operator, MSP, or Designer/PC.
• Ability to interpret and author documentation to a good standard.
• Good interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

• Specialism in either Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical
• HNC or degree level qualifications.
