POSITION SUMMARY:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring various machines on the production line to ensure efficient and quality production of our products. This includes set-up, operation, and adjustment of machinery, as well as performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS
Operate and monitor machines on the production line to meet production goals and maintain quality standards.
Perform machine set-up, including installing and adjusting molds, and making necessary adjustments to achieve proper machine operation.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting machines to ensure optimal performance.
Check and record product specifications, including dimensions, weight, and shape, to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Identify and resolve machine and production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain production schedule.
Ensure that all safety guidelines and procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
Prior experience as a machine operator or in a similar role is preferred.
Basic machine operating knowledge and ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
Other Requirements:
Good math skills
Ability to read work instructions
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
