ABtA is seeking a Center Administrative Operations Supervisor for our Pineville, NC center!

The Center Administrative Operations Supervisor (CAOS)  is responsible for overseeing all administrative processes on site at their assigned location. This includes implementing agency system/procedures and ensuring the center is a structured, sanitized, and organized work environment for all employees, learners and visitors. This position oversees the budget set for their specific location assigned and ensures agency and employees needs are met. This position monitors morale and employee engagement across center activities and events to assist in maintaining a positive work culture.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Lead, supervise and train center administrative specialists by providing guidance, mentorship, and strategic feedback to ensure individual department success and quality

Implements administrative procedures to ensure the center is a structured, safe, and sanitized work environment for  all employees, visitors and learners. 

Reviews feedback provided to the administrative department and collaborates with supervisors on policy updates as needed 

Mediates conversations between employees, learners, and/or visitors to identify solution oriented updates to processes and maintain a positive working environment 

Plans and implements any ABtA social, staff or community event to encourage attendance and maintain morale 

Ensures that all administrative staff are following clinical recommendation, policies or procedures to ensure learner safety 

Manages inventory and purchases center supplies and employee appreciation gifts as needed under a set budget

Develops and monitors monthly admin schedule to ensures adequate center support staff are scheduled, may assist with ratio as needed 

Assists with making operational decisions during center emergencies (e.g. weather, illness, power outages, etc).

Coordinates with outside vendors (construction and maintenance team/property managers, mailmen, delivery drivers, cleaners, etc) to gather quotes or proposals for building needs

Requirements

Qualifications Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, human services, healthcare administration or relevant field preferred 

Minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory role required 

Minimum of one to three years of overall experience within a related human services field (IDD/DD, ABA, etc) required, ABA field preferred

Criminal background check, health care registry check, and drug test.

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and G Suite.

Ability to facilitate constructive dialogue, mediate conflicts, and negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes.

Problem-solving skills to address issues and challenges related to administrative operations.

Knowledge of administrative procedures, policies, and systems.

Physical Demands

Must be able to observe and move with children in their natural environments (e.g. ABtA center, home, school and/or outside or in community) 

Must be able to demonstrate working and playing with children; must be able to sit on floor on ground and move easily in this capacity 

Must be able to perform the following gross motor activities: 

Climbing (e.g. upon playground equipment) 

Bending over (e.g. to assist child with writing or pick up reinforcers off ground) 

Squatting (e.g. to assist child putting on shoes) 

Running (e.g. running through a sprinkler with a child) 

Carrying (e.g. teaching materials, toys, art supplies) up to 15lbs 

Must be able to perform the following fine motor activities: 

Pincer grasp (e.g. manipulation of teaching PECS icons) 

Writing (ex. Filling out paper form with a pencil or pen) 

Using scissors and various craft supplies 

Grasping objects (e.g. keys, door knobs, etc)

Twisting of hands/wrist or fingers (e.g. Tying Shoes, fastening a button, using a zipper, etc) 

Must be able to demonstrate working and playing with children; must be able to sit on floor on ground and move easily in this capacity 

Must be able to lift children up to 50lbs

Must be able to utilize safe non-violent crisis intervention techniques with program participants of all ages (raising arms above head to block, stepping back, reaching behind shoulders, etc) 

Must be able to teach and assist with toileting skills. (eg. changing diapers, lifting on an off toilet) 

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, tablet and keyboard 

Travel Required up to 25%
