Overview:

Responsibilities:

- Deliver tailored academic support to special education students within a classroom environment

- Assist students with daily tasks, including personal care and hygiene routines

- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the special education team

- Work closely with colleagues to design and execute engaging lesson plans and curriculum

- Foster the development of essential academic skills such as math and literacy education

- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes

- Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere that promotes student growth

- Employ effective behavior management strategies and interventions to support student success

Requirements:

- Prefered Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field

- Prior experience working with children, particularly in an educational setting

- Knowledge of special education principles, practices, and strategies

- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with students and colleagues

- Team player with a collaborative approach to achieving educational goals

- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and genuine dedication to helping students thrive

*Note:* While experience in toddler care, preschool education, math instruction, curriculum development, and lesson planning is advantageous, it is not mandatory for this position.
