One of my top clients are currently looking for a skilled buyer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for purchasing goods and materials to ensure our company's operational needs are met efficiently.

Responsibilities

* Use existing bespoke systems to manage procurement activities

* Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing

* Plan inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels

* Check and manage deliveries

* Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.

Qualifications

* Previous experience in a Buyer role, preferably within a construction or off site manufacturing company

* Proficiency in using stock control and planning systems

* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure cost-effective deals

* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail

* Ability to analyse data and make informed purchasing decisions

* Knowledge of logistics processes is advantageous
