NPI Project Manager - Hybrid

An opportunity for a strong leader to join a well established manufacturer in a pivotal, and highly varied role. Managing new projects from Concept to Launch. Liaison with internal contacts and external Suppliers and Contacts.

Key responsibilities include;

Product Development

* To coordinate all new product development project activities according to customer timelines.

* To work closely with the team to meet customer briefs.

* To build relationships with customer base and explore new ones by explaining our current and potential capability.

* Cross functional communication of project activities at various stakeholder meetings

* Holding discussions with customers which may require technical understanding relating to beverage and packaging

* Supporting customer visits and launches with sites.

* Working with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure launches are within time-frame and commercials agreed.

* Collaboration with the Demand Planning & Procurement teams to ensure new materials are set up and products are in the plan as per the forecast discussed within the project brief.

* Collaboration with ‘Site Teams’ and ‘Sap Team’ to ensure product is set up fully ready for launch

* Reporting clear and accurate project updates to the Product Development Manager.

* Assistance with the post launch reviews of products.

* Attend and proactively contribute at New Product Development meetings

* To help co-ordinate product launches with Customers, Sales team, Transport, Product Development Manager and Demand Planning Manager

Quality

* Delivering excellence in new product development execution, including right first time manufacturing

* You are required to make yourself familiar with, and conform to, company methods and policies in order to maintain the highest standards of information and communication both internally and externally

What you will bring;

* Project Management experience within a manufacturing organisation

* Relevant qualification in Project Management eg Prince2, PM Practitioner

* Strong communication, influencing and leadership skills

* SAP/MRP experience

* Driving license

This role is across the group and will therefore involve travel within the UK to other sites as necessary. There is the option to work from home for up to 3 days per week.
