ROLE – Assembly Technician
LOCATION – Billingshurst, West Sussex
TERM - Permanent
SALARY- £25,000 to £30,000 per annum

My client is a supplier of engineering equipment. They are looking to take on an Assembly Technician to work on assembly and testing. This is a permanent position, based in Billingshurst.

The Assembly Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

Keen interest in Mechanical and Electrical work
A background in Manufacture would be beneficial
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Team player
Eager to train and develop their career in Engineering/Manufacture
The Assembly Technician role will involve:

Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical assembly of a variety of products and equipment
Working to procedures and instructions
Creating sub-assemblies, looms and cables
Testing and fault-finding
Repair and calibration
Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
