HR Administrator
our client seeks an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join their team. The HR Administrator will play an essential role in fostering a positive company culture and ensuring employee satisfaction. This role involves managing day-to-day HR-related tasks, supporting the overall HR strategy of the business, and facilitating the hiring process. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities as HR Administrator
- Organise and maintain employee personnel information, including DBS and right to work checks
- Lead recruitment processes and procedures, including application shortlisting and conducting interviews
- Prepare offers, contracts of employment, and collect required documentation for new hires
- Conduct new starter inductions, covering health and safety guidelines
- Assist the finance department with monthly spreadsheets for attendance and work schedules
- Arrange travel accommodation and process expense forms
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics, such as turnover rates
- Coordinate and assist with periodic processes, such as auditing accuracy of information and collating completed appraisal documentation
- Take accurate minutes during management meetings
- Perform other ad hoc duties as required by the HR department
Qualifications as HR Administrator
- Strong administration skills
- Previous experience in an HR Admin or Recruitment role (Desirable, not essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with employees
- Knowledge of HR software and systems (Desirable, not essential)
- Qualified to CIPD Level 3
Day-to-day a HR Administrator
- Schedule periodic staff reviews across all departments, including probationary reviews
- Manage recruitment activities on a weekly basis
- Monitor and manage absences on a daily basis
