Goodman Masson are exclusively partnered with a uniquely positioned charitable organisation to recruit for a Head of Finance. You will lead a small established team, with a focus on driving a strong business partnering approach with other teams across the organisation. You will also lead the finance team in delivering a full financial accounting and statutory reporting service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Business Partner to step up into a Head of Finance position. Experience supporting fundraising teams will be absolutely essential for candidates.
Day to Day Responsibilities include:
Oversee the provision of clear and timely management information to Directors (financial and non-financial)
Develop and maintain business and financial planning processes, including annual budgeting and forecasts
Drive financial ownership and understanding across the organisation ensuring budget holder knowledge
Support the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors
Provide support to fundraising teams in the completion of funding applications and following bids
Recommend appropriate reporting process and format for restricted projects
Ensure a strong internal financial control environmentEssentials:
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
Ability to review complex financial information and present to different audiences
Strong Business Partnering experience
Experience supporting fundraising teams with exposure to individual giving
