Mechanical Fitter required for a well-established specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps. The successful Candidate will be undertaking Dismantling, repair and fitting responsibilities on a range of Diesel Pumps and Diesel Engines.

Mechanical Fitter Position Overview

Carrying out repair work on Pumping equipment
Testing equipment to identify faults
Drilling, Tapping and basic bench fitting duties
Stripping and cleaning a range of Pumping equipment
Use of hand tools and measuring equipment

Mechanical Fitter Position Requirements

Previous experience in a Fitting / Assembly role
Previous experience with a range of Engineering processes including Drilling and Tapping
Any Machining experience would be beneficial
A working knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics would be advantageous
Based within a commutable distance of Sheffield

Mechanical Fitter Position Remuneration

£15.35 per hour
Full time, 39-hour week
Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 Friday 8:00 - 15:30
Overtime Available
