First Achieve's Engineering Division are hiring for a Shot Blaster for their client who specialise in recovery vehicles for clients all over the UK.
As part of their continuous growth, we are seeking a skilled Shot Blaster to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform shot blasting to clean, prepare, and finish metal surfaces of recovery vehicles and parts.
Set up, operate, and maintain blasting equipment.
Inspect surfaces for defects and report any issues.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Work closely with the paint team to ensure proper surface preparation.
Perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.Requirements:
Proven experience as a Shot Blaster, preferably in the automotive or heavy machinery industry.
Knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Benefits:
Up to £14/hr.
40 hours a week; Monday to Friday 7:30 - 16:00
