The temporary SEND Administrator will provide confidential and professional administrative support, under the supervision of the Office Manager. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills. The candidate should be adaptable, work well within a team, and ensure compliance with safeguarding, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

Enhanced DBS
Safeguarding training
NVQ 2 or equivalent qualification or experience in Business Administration or other relevant discipline
Willing to train or possess First Aid Certificate
Time management skills
Have confidence and have the ability to work alone or in a team
Analytical skills
Computer literate
Excellent Communication skills
Within this position, you’ll also be:

Providing administrative support/coordination for meetings such as Annual Reviews, Interim Reviews and Inclusion meetings including agenda preparation, collation of supporting papers, minute taking, production and distribution of minutes and any additional documentation.
Assist in providing comprehensive reception services, including greeting visitors to the Academy and ensuring relevant safeguarding checks are made,
Work cooperatively as part of the Academy administrative team, covering absence, vacancies and supporting colleagues at times of heavy workload
Coordinate routine and non routine communication
To undertake a comprehensive range of administrative services within the SEN department, ensuring that work is prioritised and deadlines are met.
Maintain SEN student records both electronic and paper files
Maintain, update and distribute documentation relating to SEN students
Co-ordinate routine and non-routine communication with service users on issues of a highly
Assist with student welfare duties such as dealing with sick students, liaising with parents/carers and relevant staff, dealing with complex student matters, investigating and resolve any matters.
Salary & Working Hours

Hourly pay £12.62

37 hours per week, Term Time Only, 08:00-16:00
