Control & Instrumentation Engineer – Days/Mon-Fri – Manchester - £60-65k + BUPA + 7% pension contribution + bonus + 25 days holiday
Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Control & Instrumentation Engineer to join a well-established site in the Manchester area. The successful Control & Instrumentation Engineer will need to have worked in one of the following sectors; water treatment, chemical or pharmaceutical and have DeltaV DCS experience.
Key aspects of the Control & Instrumentation Engineer role include;
* Requires good knowledge of PLCs, SCADA and DCS – the key to the role is recent / relevant knowledge of DeltaV DCS
* Good fault-finding, software change knowledge
* Control & Instrumentation Engineer role will suit a proactive, confident person who is comfortable out & about on the plant speaking to all stakeholders
* Requires good knowledge of instrument loops
* Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Control & Instrumentation Engineer to come in and grow this role – could lead to strategic level position
* Functional safety knowledge – nice to have
* PLC programming experience – nice to have
* Experience of working on a COMAH site – nice to have
* Company will take experience over a specific level of qualification
* Hiring manager estimates role will be 80% maintenance / 20% projects
* Be part of the HAZOP team
* 37.5 hours per week with flexible start and finish times
* Mon-Fri role (no weekends were worked over the last 12 months)
* All applicants must be able to work in the UK without sponsorship
The site is commutable from all parts of Manchester as well as places such as Bolton, Stockport, St Helens, Leigh, Warrington, Altrincham, Middleton and Heywood.
