We are working with a world leading manufacturer who are looking to strengthen their team with the recruitment of a Management Accountant. Based in Huntingdon this role offers hybrid working which will be office based for 2 days a week.
You will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts whilst working closely with budget holders to provide analysis, you will also support the budget holder in developing accurate forecasts and challenging where required.
The main duties are as follows -
- Month end review and reporting including P&L & balance sheet
- Support the cashflow reporting forecasting and monitoring
- Control and preparation of the general ledger entries including prepayments, accruals, deferred income and allocations
- Collaborate with budget holders to manage costs, review spend regularly and challenging where necessary.
- Support budget holders by providing adhoc analysis
- Assist in managing the group budget accurately tracking spend and headcount
- Prepare monthly forecasts and annual budgets for the business areas and provide reporting on actuals vs budget.
You will ideally be ACCA or CIMA qualified or working towards the qualification, you must have strong excel skills and accuracy in financial reporting.
