These schools are seeking a dedicated SEMH Assistant who is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential through excellent teaching and support.

Location: Hitchin

Sector: Education and Training

Start Date: October

Hours: Full-time, 8:30 AM - 3:45 PM

Pay: £460 - £500 per week

Training: Full training provided

Career Path: Ideal for aspiring Clinical Psychologists or Youth/Criminal Justice Officers

Key Responsibilities of a Clinical Teachiong Assistant:

Work closely with the clinical team to support students' social and emotional development.
Assist with teaching and learning activities in the classroom.
Provide personal care for pupils when needed.
Use initiative to enhance students' learning experiences and engagement.

Requirements for a Clinical Teaching Assistant:

Experience working with children and/or young people (desirable, but not essential).
A caring, enthusiastic, and energetic personality.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, alongside teaching and support staff.
A passion for supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Eligibility to work in the UK.
A degree in Psychology or Criminology.
Ideally located near Hitchin.
