A Data Engineer Python Business Analyst - contract 6 months with extensions likely

* Gather, organize and analyse datasets to provide Partners with insights to their Risk data

* Develop Data Dictionaries and maintain and validate Data reports for Partners and stakeholders

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand Partner business needs and queries

* Work with Operations and Underwriting Teams to log queries and improve Monthly Reports

* Resolve Partner Reporting queries and provide data-driven solutions to any issues raised

* Identify trends and patterns in data to support Data lineage and Partner Reporting processes

* Ensure data quality and integrity throughout Data analysis and Data Reporting processes

* Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field (eg, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics) with strong Excel

* Proficiency in SQL and Python (or programming language) for data manipulation and analysis

* Experience with Master Data Management, Data Quality, Policy Data, Party Data etc

* Comfortable with working in Cloud Technologies Google GCP/Ms Azure etc

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Experience in financial services or insurance industry is a plus
