Mobile Electrical Engineer
Required
Location: Wiltshire
Salary: £38,000- £39500 per annum
Our client, a national facilities contractor is looking for a Mobile Electrical Engineer to perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs for a local authority contract. This is fantastic opportunity to join a newly won contract and excellent career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct PPM and repairs according to HVCA engineering standards.
* Ensure all work complies with the Health & Safety at Work Act, company safety protocols, and contract requirements.
* Respond to reactive maintenance tasks, including electrical, mechanical, and minor building fabric issues.
* Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
* Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
* Provide condition reports and quotations for any required work.
* Maintain positive interactions with customers.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Competency in your primary trade, supported by relevant certification.
* Electrical expertise, including fault finding, 18th Edition qualifications, and City & Guilds Levels 2 & 3 (C&G 2330).
* Experience with C&G 2391 Test & Inspection, PAT testing, and basic electrical servicing and controls.
* Basic knowledge of building fabric repairs such as carpentry, minor plumbing, and general maintenance tasks.
* Ability to conduct meter readings, emergency light testing, water temperature recording, and alarm system tests.
Essential Qualifications:
* At least one trade qualification, with a focus on electrical installations and test/inspection.
* Basic knowledge of other trades, with certification where applicable.
* Commitment to delivering excellent service.
Preferred Qualifications:
* IPAF or PASMA certification is a plus
