Electrical Engineer (HV) – £50.00 per hour - Outside IR35

This Electrical Engineer requirement is for an independent engineering design organisation based in the North East on a outside IR35 contract basis.

The business has a portfolio of projects which ranges from small-scale studies and innovative industrial process plants to major infrastructure projects and multi-million new builds.

They have over 50 years delivering safe, compliant and consistently productive capital projects with an enviable safety record.

In return of the competitive hourly rate, you will be required to provide electrical engineering activities including concept, front end engineering development (FEED), technical studies and detailed design.

You will be responsible for:

* Designing HV power distribution networks for large COMAH manufacturing sites

* Preparation of electrical specifications for MCCs, MV/LV Switchboards, generators, VSDs

* Complete loss calculations using Trimble (Amtech) Design Suite

* Provided detailed technical input into project proposals to clients

* Working to BS / IEC standards & ATEX directive

You will have the following a strong Electrical Engineering background working on chemical process and COMAH facilities.

You must be able to demonstrate HV/LV Electrical design work and engineering load calculations.
