Senior Product Development Technologist

As this leading food manufacturer continues its successful journey of growth and innovation, it has an opening for a Senior Product Technologist to join their successful and growing team.

As a key technical and innovative resource with the team, with remit to lead the design and development of innovative, complex food products and processes, ensuring the scalability, performance, and quality of product formulations, as well as overseeing the quality of product formulation, trials and launches, to best practice standards. You will also mentor junior innovators, support their development, as well as participate in the recruitment of new innovators to join the team.

About You

Essentially, you must have experience of working in NPD in the food or beverages industry, with deep knowledge of food science principles and technologies, as well as experience in product formulation and food safety/quality assurance.

You will have strong leadership and mentoring skills, be an innovative thinker and proven track record of driving new product ideas through the business. Essentially you must be a great collaborator and excellent communicator. A genuine passion for all things food would also be advantageous too.
