Bookkeeper
Our Client, a Property Development Company based in NW2, is now seeking a Bookkeeper to join the team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
Responsibilities;
* Process invoices, credit notes, and sales orders accurately and in a timely manner
* Monitor outstanding customer accounts and proactively follow up on overdue payments
* Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in-person to resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding issues
* Evaluate customer creditworthiness by conducting credit checks and reviewing credit applications
* Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies or variances
* Prepare periodic reports on accounts receivable status, aging, and collection activities
* Assist in the preparation of financial documents, such as invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
* Support the finance department in various administrative tasks as required
The ideal candidate will be/have:
* At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience
* Previous experience working in an accounts-related role is preferred
* Ideally, possess or currently studying numerical-based qualifications, such as A-Level or higher (having started AAT is desirable)
* Basic understanding of debits & credits, purchase ledgers, and sales ledgers
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Quickbooks and IT literate
Personal Attributes:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and thrive in an inclusive environment
* Strong numerical and analytical skills with a logical and problem-solving mindset
