Overview:
We are seeking a experienced Service & Commissioning Engineers to join a growing specialist systems integrator providing control and safety solutions for complex and critical applications in industries such as oil & gas, renewable energy, hydrogen, nuclear, and utilities. This position will play a key role in testing, commissioning, and maintaining safety and control systems on both onshore and offshore projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform hardware testing of low-voltage (LV) control systems.
* Conduct software testing on platforms including Rockwell and Siemens.
* Troubleshoot and resolve system issues through fault finding and investigation.
* Prepare project documentation as required.
* Document test results and maintain detailed records for analysis.
* Attend client sites for the installation, servicing, testing, and commissioning of products both onshore and offshore.
* Provide on-site support as part of an on-call service contract rota when required.
Person Specification:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and databases.
* Previous experience in commissioning industrial process, safety, and control systems.
* Hands-on experience with Rockwell and Siemens software platforms (RSLogix 500, 5000, FT View, Siemens S7, WinCC, TIA Portal), including the ability to fault find, diagnose, and rectify software issues.
* Willingness to travel to client sites, including offshore locations, as necessary.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
