Working Pattern: Night Shift

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineering Technician to join our client's team in Irlam. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established bottling company, showcasing your mechanical and electrical skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on bottling machinery and equipment. You will ensure that production runs smoothly during the night shift, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering will be crucial in identifying and resolving any technical issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

Performing routine maintenance on bottling machinery, including inspecting, testing, and adjusting equipment
Diagnosing and repairing any mechanical or electrical malfunctions
Conducting preventative maintenance tasks to avoid potential breakdowns
Collaborating with the production team to optimise machinery performance and output
Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times
Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
Assisting with the installation of new equipment as required
Identifying areas for process improvement and making suggestions to enhance efficiency
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician in an industrial or bottling environment
Strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills
Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex machinery
Familiarity with production processes and equipment in the bottling industry
Knowledge of health and safety regulations within industrial settings
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Availability to work the night shift on a permanent basis
