Job Title: Care Team Leader
Location: Dementia Nursing Home
Salary: £13.50 per hour (negotiable for the right candidate)
Position: Full-Time, Permanent (Day Shifts)
Shift Pattern: 7:45 AM - 8:00 PM
Are you a compassionate and experienced care professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a dedicated Care Team Leader to join our clients team within a medium/advanced dementia nursing home.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of care staff in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents with medium to advanced dementia.
Ensure the safe administration of medication, in line with relevant policies and procedures.
Create a warm and supportive environment, promoting the dignity, independence, and well-being of all residents.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure the best care practices are followed.
Assist in the development and training of the care team.Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Prior experience working in a similar dementia care setting as a Senior Care Assistant / Team Leader.
Medication administration training and experience.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
A compassionate approach and genuine commitment to the care and support of residents.What We Offer:
Competitive hourly rate of £13.50 per hour (with potential for negotiation based on experience and qualifications).
Full-time, permanent day shift (7:45 AM - 8:00 PM).
