Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and design façade solutions for a variety of building projects, ensuring aesthetic appeal, functionality, and compliance with local regulations.

* Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate façade designs seamlessly with overall building plans.

* Prepare detailed drawings, 3D models, and specifications for façade systems using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino.

* Conduct site visits to assess project requirements, provide technical support, and ensure quality control during the construction phase.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies in façade design.

* Prepare and present design proposals to clients, ensuring their vision and requirements are met.

* Assist in the preparation of project budgets, timelines, and feasibility studies.

* Ensure all designs adhere to health and safety regulations and sustainability standards.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

* Proven experience (3+ years) in façade design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.

* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and other relevant tools.

* Strong understanding of building physics, materials science, and structural engineering principles as they relate to façades.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

* Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics and design.

* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

* Knowledge of local building regulations and standards in the UK.

Desirable:

* Experience with sustainable design practices and green building certifications.

* Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., RIBA, CIBSE).

* Familiarity with parametric design tools such as Grasshopper.
