Our German client is currently looking for a SAP ABAP Developer (PM/CS/SD modules), please see details below:

• Rate: ideally 750- 800 EUR per day (850 maximum), please share your best

Context: the client system uses SAP with the modules SAP-PM/CS, SAP-MM, and SAP-SD, supplemented by numerous interfaces to other SAP and non-SAP systems. These are existing systems that have not yet been migrated to S/4HANA, but will be converted to this technology.

The ABAP Developer performs the following services:

• Writing clean, efficient, and fully documented code using appropriate software development practices and standards in SAP;
• Developing software applications that meet the requirements of the client;
• Participating in the planning, design, and implementation of software projects;
• Testing and debugging software applications to ensure they meet predefined quality standards;
• Cooperating with project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure timely and successful completion of projects in accordance with client specifications;
• Attending relevant technical meetings and providing regular updates to project managers and other team members;
• Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to other developers.

Skills:

• Very good knowledge of SAP-SE tools: SAP-ABAP and SAP OO as well as DDIC, with at least 7 years of experience in railway companies (EVUs) - (ideally)
• Knowledge of the essential SAP tables in the modules SAP-MM, SAP-PM/CS, and SAP-SD.
• Knowledge of connecting logistics service providers using IDOC and XML, as well as the processes for supplying materials to service technicians.

Ideally:

• Knowledge of the standard functionalities of the SAP-MM, SAP-PM, and SAP-SD modules, particularly PM master data (eg, Equipment and Functional Locations) and notifications (IW51, IW52, IW53), with at least 5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of the essential user exits in the SAP-MM, SAP-PM, and SAP-SD modules, with at least 7 years of experience.
• Knowledge in maintenance within facility management of technical systems and high complexity.
• Practical experience in developing SAP workflows to model complex processes
