My large client in the finance sector is currently looking for a Senior IT Procurement and Supplier Relationship Manager to join their team on a 6 month contract basis take responsibility for the provision of procurement expertise and accountable for the implementation and development of end-to-end procurement strategies in their complex environment.

Skills that would make you successful in this role:

• Experience as IT procurement and supplier manager with a focus on strategically significant, high value, high risk contracts primarily in IT and preferably in Financial Services
• Extensive experience of influencing stakeholders internally and externally at all levels
• Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and evidence of maximising the value and deriving the cost savings.
• Experience of re-negotiating group level partner contracts in large integrations or acquisitions
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (beneficial)
