Job Title: Production/Product Support Specialist
I am seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Support Engineer to join a small but dynamic team, closely working with fintech products and trading platforms.
This role requires a deep understanding of trading systems, FIX connectivity, and settlement flows. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for production issues and will collaborate with development teams to adjust monitoring and optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first or second line of production support for a fintech trading platform.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to product performance and FIX connectivity.
- Collaborate closely with the development teams to understand and fine-tune the product's behavior.
- Create and maintain custom dashboards in Grafana for Real Time monitoring and reporting.
- Adjust monitoring systems based on evolving business needs and operational feedback.
- Understand the full Front Office process, including settlement flows and trade life cycles.
- Perform basic Scripting and JSON parsing for data analysis and automation.
- Quickly identify and resolve product issues, escalating to the DevOps or development teams when necessary.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong experience in production support, particularly with fintech products or trading platforms.
- Familiarity with FIX connectivity and an understanding of settlement flows.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, including the ability to create and modify dashboards.
- Basic Scripting skills (eg, Bash, Python) and familiarity with JSON for data parsing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with development and DevOps teams to enhance product monitoring.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Ability to work independently in a small, agile team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical issues to both developers and non-technical stakeholders.
