We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our clients Risk Models and Data team within the 2nd Line of Defence (2LOD). This is an exciting opportunity to support key data analysis and governance initiatives while contributing to the wider risk management function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run regular production of Management Information (MI) reports and handle ad-hoc data analysis requests.
  • Assist in the development of both ad-hoc and regular management reporting through robust data analysis.
  • Enhance the efficiency of MI production processes.
  • Support data quality resolution and data lineage activities within the team.
  • Contribute to building a strong data governance and data quality framework within the risk function.
  • Ensure compliance with the bank's Risk Management framework and escalate concerns when necessary.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with data analysis in financial services.
  • Degree educated (or equivalent), preferably in a STEM subject.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SAS and SQL, with a passion for further development.
  • Understanding of risk/financial terminology with a desire to expand this knowledge.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, including formulas and pivot tables; knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, collaborative approach.
