Power BI UX/UI Designer - 3 months - Paris, France

Global Enterprise Partners is currently seeking a Power BI UX/UI Designer for a mission with our client in the consumer goods industry. This role will be a part of a dynamic Data & Analytics department based in Paris. The role focuses on creating high-level executive dashboards within the Wine & Spirits industry, optimized for both local and global business environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and creation of user-centric Power BI dashboards for executives, ensuring clarity, relevance, and visual appeal across diverse business environments.
  • Optimize dashboards for ease of use, navigation, and interactivity, catering to the unique requirements of executives across local and global Wine & Spirits markets.
  • Work closely with data analysts, business leaders, and C-suite executives to gather dashboard requirements, aligning data presentation with both local and international business objectives.
  • Leverage knowledge of the Wine & Spirits industry to develop KPIs, metrics, and visuals that address operational and strategic needs in a global context.
  • Utilize Power BI tools to transform raw data into intuitive visuals, integrating advanced features such as DAX functions, custom visuals, and Real Time data updates.
  • Understand and incorporate the unique challenges and requirements of working within both local and global markets, adapting dashboards to reflect key insights relevant to varying geographies within the Wine & Spirits sector.
  • Ensure dashboards are optimized for performance, providing Real Time insights while maintaining a seamless user experience.
  • Create and test dashboard prototypes, incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine visualizations and ensure alignment with diverse business needs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, Power BI enhancements, and UI/UX best practices to continually improve dashboard design and user experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in Power BI UX/UI design, with a focus on creating executive-level dashboards within the Wine & Spirits industry and addressing both local and global business needs.
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, custom visuals, and Real Time data integration.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information hierarchy, and visual storytelling to enhance the user experience of complex dashboards.
  • Deep familiarity with Wine & Spirits industry metrics and operational KPIs, along with a comprehensive understanding of local and global business requirements.
  • Excellent ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical executives and business stakeholders across multiple regions.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to transform abstract business needs from various markets into functional and visually compelling dashboards.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, including data analysts, Product Owners, Data Transformation manager, business stakeholders, and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or relevant Power BI certifications.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes, SQL, and other BI tools.
  • Experience with Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation of tasks.
  • Proficiency in BigQuery and working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for data storage, querying, and integration with dashboards.
  • Proficiency with design tools like Adobe XD, Figma, or similar UI/UX prototyping tools.
